President-elect Joe Biden says he received’t instantly elevate tariffs positioned by President Trump on many imports from China or break Trump’s preliminary commerce deal.

Biden says he needs to maximise his leverage in future talks with the US’ geopolitical rival.

Chatting with The New York Instances columnist Thomas Friedman, Biden mentioned, “I’m not going to make any instant strikes, and the identical applies to the tariffs.” Biden mentioned in a column printed Wednesday: “I’m not going to prejudice my choices.”
